Diminished Value

A diminished value appraisal evaluates the difference in the value of a motor vehicle after a collision repair. An Auto appraisal expert usually compiles reports experienced in the DV field and may provide expert testimony for Appraisals. This assessment report is used when filing or disputing a diminished value claim against another party and/or an insurance company. The report measures a damaged vehicle’s inherent loss in value. In most cases, even if the repair was done correctly, the automobile’s value will still be considerably less after a loss. Therefore, when consumers find that a vehicle has been in an accident, most consumers will never pay the same price for a repaired vehicle compared to one with no loss history.

Actual Cash Value

In property and auto physical damage insurance, one of several possible methods of establishing the value of insured property to determine the amount the insurer will pay in the event of a loss. ACV is typically calculated by one of three ways:

The cost to repair or replace the damaged property, minus depreciation

Umpire Services

An independent party who reviews both reports from the Independent Appraisers (IA’s). In the event of a disagreement between the IA’s that were hired by the Insurance Company and consumer, an independent umpire is chosen to review both files and make a final decision, this can apply on an Actual Cash Value, Diminished Value and/or an Estimate Dispute situation.

Desk / Subrogation Review

If repairs have been completed and you receive the subrogation package from the other party, our services offer the audit of the estimate, rental fee, daily storage charges to ensure the correct amount was paid.

Desk Appraisal

We provide services of writing an estimate and dealing with all supplements off photos provided by the vehicle owner, shop and Ins. Co. etc. Whether you have a vehicle damage estimate created by an independent appraiser, Insurance Company and/or Repair shop, we can perform a review of the file by an experienced, licensed appraiser to manage and validate the appropriate costs involved to bring the vehicle back to pre-loss condition. This service can also include getting a secured agreed price with the owner’s choice of repair shop.
