CAR CRASH?
NOT YOUR FAULT?
DIMINISHED VALUE

Diminished Value
Inherent diminished value is the difference between a vehicle's pre-accident value and post-accident value.
Did you know that after an auto accident, even if the auto repairs are completed per the manufacturer's requirements, your vehicle's value can significantly decrease?
Most insurance companies won't tell you this, but you may be entitled to compensation for the inherent diminished value of your vehicle.
How do you know if you qualify for a diminished value?

1. Were you in an accident that wasn’t your fault (another ins co paid for the repairs – not yours)?
*If your Ins Co paid for your repairs, you don’t qualify.

2. Is your vehicle owned (or still making payments – not a leased vehicle)?
*If your car is leased, you don’t qualify.

3. Is your vehicle already repaired?
*If your vehicle has not been repaired yet, you don’t qualify

If your answer is YES to these three questions, you qualify!
